My art, is my statement.
My style is a mixture of surrealism, minimalism and abstract expressionism.
I have been working in the fields of design, architecture and visual arts since the 1980's.
I was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Toronto in 1978 to continue my education.
The 1979 Islamic revolution, prevented me from returning, for I prefer to live in freedom and I decided to make Canada my permanent home.
Nevertheless, I have always been curious and fascinated about my roots and my lost country with its long, long history and culture. The influences of these, are self evident in some of my works as well as the 3-dimensional quality of architecture.
