MEET THE ARTISTS

Michael Schwartz

Michael was born and raised in Toronto. He attended York University where he received a degree in fine arts. He spent two years freelancing in the film industry until finding a full-time job at a commercial production company. Michael moved his way up through the industry until starting his own company in 1994.

His company became one of the top three in Canada and at one point ranked ninth in the world for the number of awards received in one year including a number of wins at Cannes.

In 2019 he transitioned into the art world as an artist which he continues to this day, once again working his way up.

Shaylin McEwen

Shaylin creates art as a way to breathe through what can’t be said. Her work isn’t about performance or perfection, it’s about feeling, healing, and returning to the truth of the moment. She paints from presence, letting each piece unfold through emotion, intuition, and energy. Her process is raw, instinctive, and unfiltered. Color and texture become tools for transformation, not to escape chaos, but to move through it.

For Shaylin, art is peace. Not the quiet kind that avoids discomfort, but the kind that sits with pain, holds it, and softens it. Her practice is deeply rooted in the now. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. Just now. Because now is where the truth lives and her art is where she meets it. Shaylin is now based in Toronto. She was born in Canada and raised between Port Elgin, Ontario and Lusaka, Zambia. Shaylin carries both cultures deeply. This duality lives in her work: intuitive, emotional, and layered with meaning. She paints from presence, letting each piece unfold through energy, memory, and mood.

Carole Boudreau

Carole Boudreau is an abstract artist based in Toronto, originally from Canada’s east coast. Her artistic journey began as a search for self-expression and a way to connect with herself and the world around her. She works intuitively, beginning with bold, physical gestures that gradually unfold into layered, atmospheric compositions. Each painting holds space for what’s felt but difficult to articulate. Carole is inspired by her inner world, human connection, the natural world, open space, changing light, and the freedom she felt growing up by the ocean.

Her work is held in private collections across Canada, the United States, and Australia.

Shannon Glowinski

I’m a Toronto-based mixed media painter with a restless spirit and a brush that refuses to stay in one lane. My work is a constant evolution — wild with colour, layered in texture, and shamelessly unboxed. I don’t believe in sticking to one style or playing by the rules. Art, like life, is meant to move, shift, and surprise.

I pull inspiration from the chaos and quiet of the world around us, transforming it into pieces that invite you to pause, feel, and maybe even escape. My creations are for the dreamers, the misfits, the lovers, the fighters — anyone hungry for something real. Through every canvas, I hope to spark a moment of wonder and remind you of the beauty we often overlook.

Yas Esfandiari

Yas is a Toronto-based abstract artist. To her, abstract art mirrors life: a practice of creating and recreating, working through chaos, growing in the process, and learning when to let go.

Guided by her heart and intuition, she builds her paintings layer by layer with paint, texture, energy, colour, and emotion until each piece finds its own voice and begins to speak for itself, inviting the viewer into their own emotional experience.

Raised between cultures, she draws on Persian symbolism, especially the recurring presence of turquoise, a colour long associated with healing, protection, and the artistic and architectural legacy of Iran. It connects her paintings to her heritage, while offering space for others to find their own meaning within them.
